What was the game you mentioned a few posts ago?

There were several walk-throughs, but I seem to recall Ghost Recon as the worst offender. I suppose the Sniper: Ghost Warrior series was somewhat better.

The worst offender, in a good or bad way? You seemed to like the story from what I read of the post.

I liked it until we got to the place where it clung to the propaganda line about how our spies and thugs are noble warriors standing up for truth, justice and the American way. Had the story line been more honest, showing these people as ruthless and cynical, it would have been a lot better. Sniper Elite (four versions) was a more accurate portrayal of how snipers think and act.

My favorites games are J(apanese)RPGs because their storylines first, and the gameplay mechanics second. They tend toward the mystical side (though it’s thoroughly pagan), and you don’t get as much of the extreme/cartoonish good guy vs bad guy sort of thing.
